How does this mobile mechanic thing work?

Fairly similar to a general shop, but you get to don't have to go anywhere. We come right to where you are, and let you continue on with you day as needed. All you have to do is schedule an appointment, and we'll show up within the scheduled timeslot. We are fully mobile, and all work is done on site.

What years and type of cars do you work on?

We do most general to medium duty repairs and services to the majority of makes and models newer than 2000. We do not work on classic/antique vehicles. And our services are limited on European vehicles.

Do I have to be there for the appointment?

Not at all. We understand you're busy, and may have other things that need attention. We just need access to your vehicle and keys, and the best way to communicate with you about your repair.

Do you any tire work?

We do not replace or repair tires, however, we do offer tire rotations

Can I provide my own part?

We do allow you to use your own parts, we just cannot offer any warranty if the part has any future issues. Also, if you schedule an appointment and provide incorrect parts, an additional fee will be added.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, check, or charge payments. We do not accept Paypal, Zelle, Venmo, or any cash app options.

My community restricts car repairs, can you still come to me?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. We do ask our customers to get a prior approval for us to come out, whether it's from your HOA, or your boss (if we're coming to your job). We have found in many cases people get an approval without any problem (especially if the vehicle is immobile). Most of those rules are put in place to restrict the residents from doing their own work and making a mess, or leaving a disassembled vehicle in the lot. We offer a very clean and quick service that is contrary to those concerns.

Can you come today?

It is possible at times, however, our schedule tends to stay fairly full, so our lead time generally will be a few days or so. We also are not a roadside service. If your car is broken down along the road, it will need to moved to a nearby lot, or you home before we can work on it.

Since you don't do everything, do I still have to pay the visit fee if your findings are outside of your scope or work?

Yes. We do our best to get enough understanding about your problem up front so that we may let you know ahead of time if it may be related to something that we don't get into. More times than not we are able to make that determination without coming out.

Can you fix my vehicle the same day as the appointment?

Our main goal is to get you back on the road as a fast as possible. If parts are available, we do our best to repair it same day. However, some issues can require a fairly large timeslot for repair, which cannot always be handled in the same day.

Do you offer services for hybrid or electric cars?

There are some basic services that we can perform on hybrids, however, we do not offer any hybrid/electric specific repairs.

How often should I check my car's battery?

You should check your car's battery at least once a month. Look for any signs of corrosion or damage, and make sure the connections are clean and secure.

What should I do if my car overheats?

If your car overheats, turn off the engine as soon as safely possible and let it cool down for at least 30 minutes before attempting to go any further.
